Beyond Time Management
let go of urgency and over-commitment so you have more time and energy for you
Constantly shuffling around your obligations just so you can fit everything into the day is exhausting.
You have a long list of commitments and to-dos and they are all important to you. You care about your work and your family and you want to contribute to your community, to have a positive impact on the world, and to always be able to provide support to the people you love. These are your values, and if you were to let any of it drop, then you would feel like you were betraying who you are and letting people down.
You try every possible way to make everything fit and to come through the other side in one piece.
You seek out new tools and lifehacks to make your day more efficient, but they only ever last a couple of weeks until they fall by the wayside.
You find little moments here and there to take care of yourself, to incorporate mindfulness and gratitude - sometimes you even get away for a vacation or retreat - but the undercurrent of stress always comes surging back.
And you can’t even enjoy the activities and relationships you like because you’re always worried about the next thing you have to do.
This is not easy stuff.
And it’s clear that more mindfulness apps on your phone and reminders to breathe in your calendar won’t solve your burnout.
I have been exactly where you are: working endlessly to care for family and friends, managing all of the household tasks, offering support on new projects at work, trying to be involved in local community, and sneaking in personal growth and self-care in the spare minutes in between.
I wasn’t able to truly change anything until I stepped back and went beneath the surface, past time management and prioritizing, and into the deeper dynamics at play. I figured out what made me over-commit in the first place, what I was afraid would happen if I stopped, and what beliefs I was telling myself (or learning from society) that were keeping me stuck in place.
Then, finally, it was possible to hang on to what was truly important to me, let go of what wasn’t, and slow down.
This is the purpose of Beyond Time Management.
To get you to the point where:
You have a new, sustainable way of approaching your time and can stop spending your energy thinking about how little energy you have.
You let go of the pressure and guilt that makes you cram in yet another to do item and feel a huge weight off your shoulders.
You can slow down and spend more time taking care of yourself and doing things you love.
You’re confident in your priorities and you’re savoring the relationships and commitments that are most important to you!
Beyond Time Management is a 4-month one-on-one coaching program that will help you to stop over-committing and start slowing down. Figure out your deepest values, investigate how your commitments do or don't align with what you need, start to see boundaries as a gift you can give to yourself and others, and feel the power and freedom from letting go of rushing.
Beyond Time Management includes:
50-minute coaching sessions every other week for 4 months (by phone or zoom).
The includes our initial session, where we will establish your goals for the program, which we will then use to guide our time together and to make sure that you get what you came for. Then, for 6 sessions we will focus on addressing the mindset shifts and action steps that will help you align with your values, release urgency, and establish boundaries. In our last session, we will review what you have discovered and accomplished and set you up with next steps so that you are confident continuing the journey on your own.
Weekly action steps that we will decide on together, so that you can integrate your insights from our sessions into your actual life.
Reflective questionnaires in advance of each session to help you make the most of our time together.
Text support in between sessions so that you have an accountability buddy and a support system every step of the way.
Setting the time aside for this program is an important step in itself.
This is time to really consider what you need, accompanied by a friendly, understanding, and practical ear to help take your reflections into your actual life, instead of getting stuck in the impossibility of it all.
Get super clear on what you really need to feel good, shift your perspective so that boundaries are a win-win for everyone instead of something to feel guilty about, and release the urgency so that you no longer need to do everything right now.
The total cost for Beyond Time Management is $785.

Where do you work?
I see all of my clients by phone and Zoom. As long as you have good phone service, we can work together!
Who do you work with?
If you read through this whole description all the way to the FAQ section, chances are we'll be a good fit for each other. I work with anyone who is tired of piling one obligation on top of another until they are buried underneath the weight of it all and who is looking for a new way of operating that allows them to take better care of themselves. I often work with caregivers of young children or elderly parents, as well as people in high-empathy professions.
If you are looking to be more productive, this program may not be for you. Part of the objective of Beyond Time Management is to let go of having to do it all. If you are just looking for increased efficiency, you may not get what you came for. (But if you are constantly overrun by the feeling that you need to be more productive and you are ready to shift away from that, then you’re in the right place!)
Finally, I aim to be inclusive to people of all genders, religions, races, ethnicities, abilities, and backgrounds.
What is the difference between Overwhelm Detox, beyond time management, and integrated self-care? Which one should I do?
Overwhelm Detox is a two-month coaching program that includes the first vital steps to being able to get to the bottom of your overwhelm: figuring out what’s most important to you (your values), checking in on how your commitments do or don’t match up with what you need, and taking action to shift some of those priorities so that you can better take care of yourself.
Beyond Time Management includes that step of aligning your priorities with your values, and goes further to help you empower yourself and others through boundaries, and release the urgency of doing everything right now. It’s a very holistic approach to addressing overwhelm and over-commitment and will give you the time you need to integrate new beliefs into your life before we finish.
Integrated Self-Care is my signature coaching program. It’s a 14-week one-on-one coaching program that includes everything I cover in Beyond Time Management, plus six additional weeks addressing the guilt and self-judgment that drives so many of us to take on more than we can handle. It also includes dedicated time to creating a self-care plan that works for you.
You should choose the program that fits your needs most!
Do you just need an initial breakthrough so that you have somewhere to start? Overwhelm Detox is for you. Do you need sustained accountability and checking in to change your patterns around overwhelm and over-commitment? I recommend Beyond Time Management. Do you tend to be hard on yourself no matter what you do or don’t do and want the extra support to really change these dynamics from the inside out? Let’s talk about Integrated Self-Care.

I help people who have built their lives around taking care of others to take care of themselves. I show them how to sort through the noise of their competing priorities to figure out what is important to them, how to have a healthier relationship with time and time management, and how to stop feeling guilty so they can finally create the intentional life they deserve. I have been working in interpersonal relations and personal development since 2011, using applied theatre, facilitation, and life coaching to help thoughtful and compassionate people make change in their lives. I live in Wayland, MA with my husband, Louis, and thrive on performing in community theatre, creating amateur pottery, and jumping in the ocean . Read more of my story here.
