Hold My Weight

Mother Earth,

she will hold my weight

shed her tears for me

when it rains.

Sky, water, body, ground

Pulse with life

One voice, no sound.

Resting soft,

breathing deep,

the wind will carry me into sleep

Let my back, my legs, my skin

Sink into her

Sink into her

Let my back, my legs, my skin

Sink into her to rest.

Mother Earth,

she will hold my weight,

pull me close

when I need her strength.
