Inspiration: #BoringSelfCare

Self-care has become quite the trend. If you've done any work with me, you know that I believe it's important for self-care to be what you need it to be, not based on some image in your head (or in the media) of what self-care should be. That's why I love this Instagram project by Hannah Daisy called #boringselfcare.

Her message is specifically to raise awareness for the struggle of having a mental illness and that sometimes self-care is really just about functioning day-to-day.

This self-care is a real accomplishment and deserves to be celebrated. So take a page from her book and celebrate the "little" things, because they are really not little at all.
