say goodbye to guilt and start living more joyfully
You’ve never known a time when guilt hasn’t followed you around like a shadow.
Any time you consider doing something for yourself, inconveniencing someone else by saying “no”, or asking for help when you are overwhelmed, guilt shows up loud and clear to let you know how irresponsible you are.
Your guilty thoughts sound something like this:
You understand the concept - and even the value - of “putting yourself first”, but you can’t get rid of the feeling that it is a copout to avoid being responsible and dependable.
You know there are people with far less privilege than you dealing with far worse than you, so who are you to complain or slow down?
You look around and other people seem to be managing fine. What makes you think you deserve a break?
You worry that if you slow down, you’ll never stop. Every time you let yourself relax and watch TV you end up binging a whole season of some show and feel worse than when you started.
If you continue on this way, guilt will always be that loud buzz in your head that keeps you from figuring out what you truly need.
You don’t want to lose your sense of moral integrity! But you do want to find a different way to navigate your choices so that you can say goodbye to the guilt shadow and start living more joyfully.
If it sounds like I’m in your head reading your thoughts, it’s because I’ve had those exact thoughts myself.
Even now, my guilt flares up and tries to tell me I’m doing everything wrong. But I’ve learned to respond to the guilt with self-compassion and patience and to keep living my life anyway. And I want to help you do the same.
In Undoing Guilt, you will learn how to let go of the guilt you feel between your conflicting priorities, get the support you need, and take strides to take better care of yourself.
You will move away from trying to control everything and toward open curiosity, away from guilt in needing help and toward gratitude for the support you can receive, and figure out what will truly make you feel your best moving forward.
Undoing Guilt Includes:
Eight 50-minute coaching sessions every other week for 4 months (by phone).
This includes our initial session, where we will establish your goals for the program, which we will then use to guide our time together and to make sure that you get what you came for. Then, for 6 sessions we will focus on increasing your self-compassion, cultivating your support system, and creating your new and improved self-care practices, all while releasing the guilt that has been holding you back. In our last session, we will review what you have discovered and accomplished and set you up with next steps so that you are confident continuing the journey on your own.
Weekly action steps that we will decide on together, so that you can integrate your insights from our sessions into your actual life.
Reflective questionnaires in advance of each session to help you make the most of our time together.
Text support in between sessions so that you have an accountability buddy and a support system every step of the way.
The total cost for Undoing Guilt is $785 (payment plans available).
Are you ready to Undo your Guilt?
Send me an email or schedule a phone consult so we can get to know one another and I can answer any questions you have.
Where do you work?
I see all of my clients by phone. As long as you have good phone service, we can work together!
Who do you work with?
Generally, I work with anyone who feels my programs would be helpful to them. I often work with caregivers of young children or elderly parents, as well as people in high-empathy professions. I do ask that, if we are to spend this time together working to undo your guilt, that you come prepared with an open mind, with curiosity, and with a desire to take action to make tangible change in your life.
If you aren’t sure whether we’ll be a good fit for each other, I recommend starting with a one-time Breakthrough Session to get a sense of my style.
Finally, I aim to be inclusive to people of all genders, religions, races, ethnicities, abilities, and backgrounds. If you have any concerns about whether I can accommodate your needs, please email me or schedule a free consult.
What is the difference between your coaching programs? Which one should I do?
Overwhelm Detox is a two-month coaching program to help you shift your priorities so that they align with what you want and need and so that you can take better care of yourself.
Beyond Time Management includes the work of Overwhelm Detox and goes further to help you empower yourself and others through boundaries, and to release the urgency of doing everything right now. It’s a very holistic approach to addressing overwhelm and over-commitment and will give you the time you need to integrate new beliefs into your life before we finish.
Undoing Guilt is the same length of time as Beyond Time Management (8 sessions over 4 months) but focuses on that inner voice that is always telling you that you aren’t good enough or aren’t trying hard enough or that you need to take care of everything on your own. While the themes of the sessions in Beyond Time Management are aligning your commitments with your values, releasing urgency, and empowering yourself and others through boundaries; the themes of the sessions in Undoing Guilt are increasing self-compassion, cultivating a support system, and personalizing your approach to self-care.
Integrated Self-Care is my signature coaching program. It’s a 6-month one-on-one coaching program that includes everything in Beyond Time Management and Undoing Guilt. The longer length of the program also means that you have a longer period to integrate these practices in your life, enabling long-term shifts in your mindset and behavior.
You should choose the program that fits your needs most!

I help people who have built their lives around taking care of others to take care of themselves. I show them how to sort through the noise of their competing priorities to figure out what is important to them, how to have a healthier relationship with time and time management, and how to stop feeling guilty so they can finally create the intentional life they deserve. I have been working in interpersonal relations and personal development since 2011, using applied theatre, facilitation, and life coaching to help thoughtful and compassionate people make change in their lives. I live in Wayland, MA with my husband, Louis, and thrive on performing in community theatre, creating amateur pottery, and jumping in the ocean . Read more of my story here.
